About Us

Our Mission

New Hampshire Pet Aid (NHPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2021. We provide financial assistance of up to $500 for cats and dogs needing urgent veterinary care whose caregivers cannot afford the full cost of treatment.

We rely on the generosity of our supporters to help those in our community get the treatment their pet needs. Currently, we are accepting applications for financial assistance of up to $500 from residents of Strafford and Rockingham counties only. Our goal is to expand to other areas of the State as funding permits. (Please refer to the How to Apply tab for more details.)

Our Board

NHPA is governed by volunteers who serve on the Board of Directors, which includes veterinarians and non-veterinarians, all of whom know firsthand the importance that pets bring to our lives. We do not have any staff or office.

Help Us Keep Animals Out of Shelters
No pet owner wants to face the terrible decision to surrender their beloved family member because they can't afford to pay for their care.
